I have spent the last two weeks scanning the internet for the best tutorials on all the different Trapcode products, here are my favorite tutorials for you to enjoy. Tutorials include Particular, Shine, Form, Lux, Horizon, 3D stroke and more!
What Trapcode products are there and what do they do?
Trapcode Particular - Creates natural smoke, explosions, geometric or organic abstract elements.
Trapcode Shine - Shine is a 2D plug-in that simulates 3D volumetric light effects.
Trapcode Form - Creates flame, smoke and other organic 3D shapes - and then synchronize it with audio.
Trapcode 3D Stroke - Uses paths from one or more masks to render volumetric strokes that can be rotated and moved freely in 3D space. It has a built-in camera to create dynamic 3D environments.
Trapcode Echo Space - Speeds and automates the creation of 3D layer effects in Adobe After Effects. Layer iterations can be controlled as a group or individually for sophisticated 'house-of-cards' or 'Cover Flow'-style animations.
Trapcode Horizon - Create environments by using Trapcode Horizon to wrap sphere maps, panoramas or video around the After Effects world.
Trapcode Lux - Simulates the "visible light" phenomenon of light in a dark or foggy environment.
Trapcode Sound Keys - Sound Keys is a keyframe generator plug-in for Adobe After Effects. Visually select parts of an audio track and convert that audio into keyframes. Intended for audio-intensive animations.
Trapcode Starglow - Ultra-fast star shaped glow on highlights
Trapcode Particular:
Creates natural smoke, explosions, geometric or organic abstract elements.
Grow A Grassy Field With Particular
Learn how to use Particular's "Aux Particles System" to generate a grass-like particle trail. It will be the closes most of us get outside all day!
Create realistic smoke trails with Particular particles
Andrew Kramer at Video Copilot brings us yet again a brilliant new tutorial using Particular and his new amazing product optical flares. After watching all you will want to do is shoot missiles all day.
Use Trapcode's Particular to generate light streaks
Yet another Andrew Kramer tutorial in which we learn how to create light streaks used in the many popular adverts such as the ipod nano.

The Dark Knight

Create a Fluid Plasma Effect with Trapcode Particular
Motion designer Harry Frank shows how to use layer emitters and turbulence fields in Trapcode Particular to create a smoky/plasma design effect.
Perfect if you cannot afford to buy Trapcode Form!
Particular Halftone Effect
Thinking outside the box, greycode uses Particular to create this halftone effect from a photo. If you don't happen to have a version of photoshop handy this might be for the right tutorial for you!
Knowing Earth
Simply use bitmap and text layers to emit particles to achieve a Knowing film effect and then Trapcode Particular will read and emit particle text from the lava cracks.
Particular bounce
You are going to learn how to emit lots of footballs and make them bounce in After Effects. Awesome for a sports website trailer or channel.
Welding Sparks with Particular
Explore Trapcode Particular's position keys and bounce system, and use it to create these red hot sparks.
Butterfly Effect
Learn quick tricks of using Particular as well as how to link to butterflies leaving trails.
Cash For Gold
Use a gold bar as emitter to generate Dollar bills with Trapcode Particular. An awesome effect if you are designing an advert or music video involving lots of cash.

The Ring
Andrew Kramer teaches you how to build a silver ring in After Effects with a particle wipe using Particular or cc particle world.
This tutorial is not for beginners! So be warned, the world of After Effects is not to be messed with.
Lloyd Alvarez Teaches Particle Ballet - AE Plus
Over the course of two jam-packed video lessons you'll learn how to create a breathtaking 'Particle Ballet' effect using After Effects, using Particular and Trapcode Form.

Shine is a 2D plug-in that simulates 3D volumetric light effects.
Reviving AE Lens Flares
If you haven't rushed out a bought Optical flares then you might want to learn how to use shine to revive the boring default AE flares.
Flashlight Titles
Use shine to help create this awesome flashlight title, when animated it appears that you are shining a torchlight onto it! I would recommend viewing the preview to understand it fully!

Lexus Hybrid Drive Flying Orbs
Ruediger Chmielus from Barbecue delivers an excellent free After Effects tutorial series on how to create the flying Orbs seen in the Lexus Hybrid Drive commercial.
If you haven't seen the advert have a look here before you start. To say its amazing is an understatement.

Text to smoke
This tutorial is similar to my wallet, with things just disappearing in thin air. Using Trapcode Form we'll go from a solid shape to little puffs of smoke that whips off into the air.
Form a Face
Create a slick push pin toy effect as seen in the Radiohead "House of Cards" video. Using Form we can link the particles to footage to create this awesome effect.
Make Form Cinematic
Simon Bronson has wrote this fantastic tutorial on making from more cinematic and less digital, a useful watch even if you don't own Form!
Creating a Text to Sand Transition
Aharon Rabinowitz shows you how to create the effect of text (or a logo) dissolving to sand and blowing away. You'll also learn how to reverse the transition, so that sand Forms into text.

A introduction to Trapcode Form for those with little or no experience using the plug-in.
How to visualize audio with Trapcode Form in After Effects

In this mega tutorial we use quite a few Trapcode products, including Form for the 3D droplets but we use horizon to create a 3D scene which the rain drops mass.
