Here is a quick tutorial to show you how to use the Crack Brushes Set to create a stone like effect with cracks on a face using simple blending techniques.

Before we begin the tutorial download and install the Cracked Brushes Set.
Step 1
If your image is coloured go to Image > Adjustments > Desaturate, then Images > Adjustments > Exposure and mirror the settings below:
Exposure: +0.38
Offset: -0.0724
Gamma Correction: 0.72
NOTE: Using the settings wont always give you the exact same results, so you may have to make some slight adjustments to your image to make it look similar.
Step 2
Add some Inner Shadow to the face. Mirror the following settings:
Inner Shadow
Blend Mode: Multiply
Opacity: 56%
Angle: -70°
Distance: 35px
Choke: 0%
Size: 43px
Step 3
Create a New Layer, go to Brushes and start painting Cracks to the areas of the face.
On the same Layer mirror the following settings:
Bevel and Emboss
Stucture
Style: Inner Bevel
Technique: Smooth
Depth: 100%
Direction: Up
Size: 5px
Soften: 0px
Shading
Angle: -45°
Altitude: 30°
Shadow Mode Colour: #595758
In your Layers Pallet change the Blending Option of the layer to Overlay. These settings should now have dug and blended the cracks into the skin.
Step 4
If you have a face in the same Layer cut it out using the Magnetic Lasso Tool, Duplicate it and add a Pattern Overlay using the Carpet pattern which can be found under the Pattern 2 category.
Step 5
Now for the final step Merge the Pattern Layer with a New Layer and set the Blend Mode to Overlay.
